I liked the insistences on the breathing techniques and I really appreciated the instructor's tone and accompaniment. She makes you feel good no matter how well you are holding the pose! While I enjoyed the practice, I did find it a bit challenging for a pure beginner. I had to adapt some of the poses and a few I could not achieve at all. I would recommend this after completing some shorter practices available on the site for beginners.

Mia it was wonderful! I teach gentle yoga and this was a treat to be lead through slowly and mindfully through each posture. I read some of the other comments and what I want to say is that each teacher is unique as we all are. Let go of your personal interpretations and enjoy a new journey. Listen more than watch as this is your personal practice, your body will tell you how much you can do and make modifications unique to you. Turn up the volumne and let go. It is not important what someone wears to teach or practice in. The lesson in Yoga is "Listen" and let go of the critic that belongs to the outer world and become the unconditional loving observer. Become Divine Love! Namaste'

This is a great video and easily adaptable to higher than level 1. The only thing that could be improved is if Mia wore an outfit that contrasted with the dark background. Sometimes i had to come out of a position and get right up by the computer screen to see what she was doing.

Hello.
I think that the volume of the music should be a little lower. I can't here the instructor very well.

I absolutely loved this practice, I did not want it to end. It moves slowly, but that helped me focus. Thank you!

I had done another one of your practices the other day and it was much easier. I had great difficulty sitting in the position at the beginning so I stood doing the poses. It became somewhat easier as it went along but I couldn't hold the poses as long as the model was. I enjoyed it and will do it again. I am very stiff and age 57 so it will take some time. My hips are especially tight and I didn't know it. Thank you. Carol

Wow, i started out doing this practice feeling kind of like i had to push myself. Once i'd let go of my desire to achieve. I achieved naturally. I really felt like some of the poses were changelling but not too difficult. I felt and amazing sense of relaxation at the visualization part and absorbed the energy from the animal that gives me most strength and happiness, which is the tiger. Coming out of the pose and into namaste gave me a grea feeling of well- being. Thankyou for this!! Excellent highly recommended practice. I'm a beginner, so this was great for me.
Namaste,

This was a great introduction routine. Better than any tape I have ever purchased. And even though it moved slowly and carefully, I still finished feeling like I had a workout and noticed an immediate change in my posture and relaxation.
