Testimonials

"Your online lessons have been essential to me and I have been completely impressed with the quality of the lessons provided here. I have physical limitations that make attending a public class awkward and have greatly appreciated having an instructor in my own home as well as being able to practice at a time that is convenient for me! Thank you!" - Barlee

There exists a process in yoga that leads us to...dare I say...enlightenment. This process is rooted in awareness and willingness. Hmmm, can we really get there? What is it like to be "enlightened."

Each of us has experienced moments of clarity also known as moments of truth. These moments are full yet they coexist with emptiness. This is not to be mistaken with loneliness or sadness. There is fullness in emptiness. Contemplation of what is with an open heart and a willing mind.

So, enlightenment...maybe we all have different expectations when it comes to enlightenment. How about this...Oneness. Maybe enlightenment corresponds to Oneness. Look at your neighbor, your boss, the sales clerk, the politician, the gang member, all people from everywhere with new eyes. Can we see ourselves in others and others in us? What a world it CAN be when we consider this concept.

Try this: walk down the street or through the grocery store or in your own home and send blessings to each person that you pass. Give them the energetic gift of love, compassion, wealth, courage, gratitude, strength. You will feel so empowered, you will feel the consciousness of Oneness and begin to understand the immense feeling of enlightenment. It may be fleeting and we may just forget...but each time that truth presents itself again, we are closer to the process.

Abhyasa is the art of practice, literally the practice of "the practice" soooooo, we just have to practice this as often as we can!

Namaste~
Mia
